
Shelly Fuerte is an entertainment and arts administration professional with more than 20 years of experience spanning concert programming, artist relations, tour management, and symphony operations. Shelly has built a career dedicated to developing engaging live entertainment experiences while championing artistic excellence, inclusivity, and meaningful cultural connection.
Shelly currently works as a Booking Consultant with Spot-On Entertainment, where she supports artist bookings, presenter relationships, and strategic programming initiatives for symphony engagements across the country. Her background uniquely bridges the worlds of orchestral programming and touring live entertainment, allowing her to bring both creative insight and operational expertise to each project.
Shelly served as Vice President of Popular Programming for the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra, where she managed the artistic direction of the orchestra’s acclaimed PNC Pops Series alongside Principal Pops Conductor Byron Stripling. In addition to Pops programming, she has led the development of special presentations including film concerts with live orchestra and engagements featuring major touring artists.
Shelly began her career with the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra as Assistant Artistic Administrator before continuing her work with organizations including the San Diego Symphony and the Grand Teton Music Festival. She later expanded into independent consulting and international touring, serving as a road manager and production professional for artists including Jane Lynch, Matthew Morrison, and numerous Broadway vocalists and concert performers.
A strong advocate for movers, makers, and culture bearers, Shelly continues to support projects that foster community, creativity, and connection through live performance.
