Joan Ryan is well known to television audiences from her regular roles as Tina Pallodrino on the hit series, “Saved By The Bell,” as Kathleen Houghton on the long running soap opera, “The Young and The Restless” as well as nu- merous other guest appearances and her voice can be heard on the new “Glee” inspired “Smash.” On stage, Joan created the dual roles of Judy/Ginger in RUTHLESS, and has had leading roles in FOOTLOOSE, LEONARD BERNSTEIN’S MASS at the Hollywood Bowl, LITTLE SHOP OF HORRORS, JOSEPH/DREAMCOAT, SUDS, NUNSENSE, TRIUMPH OF LOVE and ROCK CANDY. Variety shows include “One Night Only” with Jason Alexander and Kirstie Alley and “Forever Young,” with Steve Carell, Forrest Whitaker, and Eric McCormack. Her voice has been declared “a national treasure” (Back- stage), Variety has called her “brilliant” and the LA times called her “Mesmerizing.” Rex Reed exclaimed, “She’s a trumpet, she’s an angel, she’s the music that makes me dance.” Her recordings include her self titled debut CD, Sondheim: A Musical Toast, Lerner Lane and Loewe, Ruthless: Original Cast album, and Schwartz, Schwartz and Strouse, among others. In her spare time, Joan can be heard singing the National Anthem for the Lakers and the Harlem Globetrotters!

Her films include “The Ugly Truth,” ”Den Brother,” “Last Day Of Summer,” “Californina Dreamin,” ”Godzilla,” “Mousehunt,” “Pushing Tin,” “I’ll Do Anything,” “The Huntress,” “Bye Bye Birdie” and “Breakfast Of Champions.” Her voice can be heard in Pixar’s animated blockbuster “Finding Nemo,” “Alpha And Omega.” “Wonder Woman,” “Justice League – The New Froniter,” “Doctor Doolittle,” ”Scooby Doo,” “King Of The Hill,” “Rugrats,” “Phineas And Ferb.” She starred in the Broadway productions of CHICAGO, DAMN YAN- KEES, THE CRUCIBLE, SNOOPY, and the WIND IN THE WILLOWS (opposite Nathan Lane), AN EVENING WITH THE POPS at Carnegie Hall, and PAL JOEY (with Patti Lupone and Peter Gallagher). Recently, this award- winning actress played to sold out crowds, standing ova- tions and rave reviews in her turn as Fanny Brice in FUNNY GIRL.
