Liz Callaway has been in demand, On and Off-Broadway, since her debut in Stephen Sondheim's Merrily We Roll Along. Liz has since garnered acclaim for her work in the musicals The Three Musketeers, Miss Saigon (originating the role of Ellen), as Grizabella in Cats and received a Tony© Award nomination for her role in Baby. Now the beloved Broadway star brings the journey full circle with an unparalleled concert event celebrating Sondheim's exquisite tapestry of song.
On the silver screen, Liz performed the singing voice of the itle character in the animated feature Anastasia, and her song "Journey to the Past," (nominated for a 1998 Academy© Award) was skated to by Tara Lipinsky in Disney's The Return of Jafar, and Aladdin and the King of Thieves. Other film work includes the singing voice of the title character in The Swan Princess, Lion King 2: Simba's Pride, Beauty and theBeast, and the Brave Little Toaster Goes to Mars.
